Buy a Savage or Tikka! I'm not a Browning guy
I'd definately get some recoil help. I have a Tikka Whitetail Hunter in .338 win Mag. I shot it a lot before the elk hunt. I put a Simms Revoil pad on and it cut the recoil by 50%. I am seriously considering a brake for it as well. SHe is a real shooter though. I debated on the caliber and chose the .338. No looking back!
