RE: Scared of the dark? Be Honest
This is just my take on the matter. Sight, sound, smell, taste, touch. And emotion.
Person goes for a walk in the woods (desert, mountain, cetra) in the daylight. The sense most used is eyesight. Sight pretty much overrides the other senses.
Same person in same place in the middle of the night. Sight utilization is almost nil. Sound is the next sense used. I think one would be amased at the sounds not heard in the daylight. And there is less noise in the night. But now that one can't see one uses hearing and most sounds experienced are not familiar. Unfamiliarity erouses emotions. How one controls this emotion dictates how one will respond to the immediate envirnment.
But that doesn't answer your question. Nope. Not afraid of the dark.
