Default RE: dog running

That's the best way to do it, although I do climb in a treestand from time to time. I have a pack of dogs myself and am trying to sell a few right now. I don't mix alcohol with hunting at all, but will pop a top when trying to catch dogs after dark once in a while. As for my dogs going on other people's property I (and the people I hunt with) try our best to keep the dogs away from property lines.
The club I hunt is about 11,000 acres and all in one big block, and most of the private property around it belongs to members so we can hunt all of it.
Like I said, when done right it's the best way (in my opinion).
