RE: Most Unusual shot made.
The first gobbler I ever shot was through about a 6 inch opening a couple feet in front of my barrel in a cedar limb overhanging my set-up. The worst part was that I made the shot left-handed, and I am right handed. When I pulled the trigger, he was hit hard but took off in the air and made it about 12 feet off the ground before he fell back and his knees buckled leaving him helpless. My second shot was wide open at less than 10 yards. It almost took his head off. I'll never forget that hunt as it was my first longbeard. It's why I spend so many hours in the woods every spring.
