RE: Lost faith in my Pro Shop today
I've been scared by some of the things I've heard said by the "shop guys at some of the shops I've found also and I think it's very disturbing. I found a shop that carried Bowtech in Evansville and paid them a visit. There was a kid in buying a new Tech 29 and was getting all the accessories too. He asked if broadheads would shoot like his field point out of this bow and the guy told him they would. After he had told him that the fall a way rest he was selling him "didn't have to be tuned". I could hardly believe it and I couldn't help but speak up about it, so I did.
This other guy with the kid shoots compound without sites using fingers; nothing wrong with that but: he told me he when he's in a treestand, he nocks the arrow above the nocking point instead of under like he would practicing from the ground. We got into a pretty big discussion about that one too. Some of the crap I hear in shops makes me laugh right at people.
I'm glad I have you guys too set me straight.
