well our land has been posted hunting with permission only, for about 5 years now. I only have one neighbor and i get along with him pretty good. We didn't deny anyone permission this year but we did last year a few times. We are fine with letting people out on our land hunting but we would like to know who they are and how many hunters are out there and which field they will be hunting. Then when the next hunting party comes along we tell them that they need to hunt a mile south or whatever so that they don't run into the other hunters. People see hunting with permission only and usually don't even ask and hunt anyways or else just give up and go someplace else. It never hurts to ask. If nobody is hunting the land at the moment the land owner will probably let u on.
