I use the Remington Hevi-Shot in 3", #6 ,1 5/8 oz. load.I have a Remington 1187 Supermag and it is by far the best shell I have shot.I have a Hevi-Shot .665 choke and the pattern at 30 yards is the size of a sheet of notebook paper.Last spring was the first year I used them and I took a gobbler at 14 yards and a jake at close to 60.I wouldn't recommend shooting past 40 yards with any load.The jake I shot was a stupid shot but I just got caught up in the heat of the moment and won't do it again.
It may not do as good in your gun as it does in mine.Each gun is different.
