The trigger on mine came adjusted perfectly, probably THE best trigger on a factory rifle I've encountered out of the box. There is no easy adjustment if you get a bad one, but there are some decent instructions with pictures posted on the web at a couple of sites if needed.

That combo would be the same rifle except the action would be the SB-2 which is rated for centerfire calibers. That would be a great combo to find. H&R had discontinued the combo packages but I think they are going to bring them back this year. They are also going to put out a non-4473 very similar muzzleloader called the Sidekick - at least per best rumors.
