RE: rem 1100 3"??
ok if I am understanding you correctly you have a 1100 that is chambered for 2 3/4" shells correct. YOU are wanting to know if you take a 3" barrell and place on your gun will you be able to shoot 3" loads? Well I know all of the information I have seen has said that yes you can put the 3" barrel into that reciever (except certain models- go to remingtons website for more information) but you can still only shoot 2 3/4" shells. Just passing along what I have read. If you want a 3" or even a 3 1/2" gun and woudl like ot sell yor 1100 then let me know lol I am always looking for more guns to have a reason to buy another cabinet for LOL. I hope this might help.
