Default made some arrahs

I stained my fiberglass (fiberwoodies now) with dark brown rit dye yesterday, painted on a white cap with spray paint, wrapped red electrical tape to seperate bare shafts and cap, sprayed about 9 coats of polycrylic on cap and 2 on stain. Shouldn't have sprayed on stain, it made dark spots all over. Looked just like wood before I messes with it, but isn't bad now. Fletched with 2 whites and a red shield cut. I used Duco on the nocks, but it are all the polycrylic and paint, so I used superglue gel on the feathers. Worked well, cept I didn't do the best job fletching.
Made a dip tube too. I took 1 1/2" PVC pipe, bought some wingnut locking plug thingies, and 1 1/2 to 3" converter as a stand. Looks nice. I am going to buy another 1 1/2 to 3 converter to use on the top as a resevouer thingy, along with a cap. I don't think the spray polycrylic is durable enough, so I will try it in a can. I will get some Gasket Laquer and a little dipper dip tube too. I figure I might as well do it "right." I am trying to get my mom to get me a Sewing machine motor so I can build a crester. I am not brave enough to go into the repair shop. This is just getting too fun. There is so much to experiment with.
