I missed my first shot this year because I forgot what I was doing and closed my bow hand-my second archery season and my first shot on a deer...I crawled 80yrds on my belly down the edge of a wheat field to get to her, took me over 45min, then I get there and close my bow hand (improper shooting form) and fling my first shot off to the left, she didn't know what was going on, so I slowly nocked up another one, opened my hand, and punched her through both lungs and the heart...guess those off season tourney's helped a bit-35yrds by then second shot.
