I used 7mm-08 Remington 120 gr. Hollow Points on deer for 9 years without losing a single deer. Most of them dropped dead in there tracks. Exit wounds most of the time were about the size of a golf ball, some bigger. I used Hornady 139 gr. sst's this year and now I'm thinking about going back to the 120's. Every deer I shot this year ran at least 50 yards with little blood trails. I've never had to track a deer the way I did this year. This is just my opinion.
