One would think I was on a jungle patroll the way I go to the bird. I sit in the shadows and give a sleepy hen then give it a good cluck on two and see what happens. sometime the Toms are right around the corner and sometime they are across the creek. I try to get in position. It may be just to sit or it may be to crawl or to get on a full run. Last year, Me and a friend looked like O. J. Simpson in the airport ad., running and jumping logs, etc to get to a bird. When we stopped we were not sure where he was....He cut lose on a Gobble 50 yards out. We spazzed out for a min. then got ourselves together and I elected to call and my friend shot. 30 Min later he had a nice Tom with a 8 1/2 inch mopp and 1 inch spurs.
It was GREAT !!!!
