Mike,I let the bird determine how to play it.If I have a choice though,I love to just go nuts on calls.The more you hammer a bird the more he hammers back.Don't like it to be over too quickly either.I worked a bird one time that my buddy shot,took 2 hrs and 4 setups.Till it was over there were 2 longbeards,1 jake and 2 hens involved.I blew the reeds out of 1 call and the roof of my mouth was bleedin and my wrist was sore from workin a slate at the same time.I loved it.So to answer your question,Deep down I'm an aggressive hunter.
