Actually Redline, the .019 pin covers less of the target than a .029 at any distance. But I understand what you were getting at.

Depending on how far your sight is from your eye, a .029 pin will cover about 0.7" of the target at 20 yards. At 30 yards, a .029 pin would cover slightly more than 1". But switch that 30 yard pin to a .019 and it only covers 0.7", same as the .029 at 20 yards.

I personally prefer the smaller .019 pins. I feel like I'm a little more accurate with smaller pins combined with a smaller peep.
