Default RE: Whats wrong with the 22hornet

The Hornet's "accuracy issues" are a matter of degree. It was never designed for.....or will be a "benchrest competition" cartridge. So what? What it was designed for.....and does very, very, very, well is....close to medium (a little over 200 yards) range varminter.....without waking every body up in the next two counties. It is more than accurate enough to take chucks, ground squirrels, turkeys, etc. to 200 yards or a little more. And with enough energy for javelina sized animals to a little less. And it does all of this with little recoil, little noise, little fuss.....and "little respect". And the .22 Hornet doesn't "care". It has worked...continues to work...and will work...when used for its intended purposes.

It's a fine little cartridge. Very capable.....and a h**l of a lot of fun!
