Default RE: does any1 shoot deer in the neck?

So many of you guys are not seeing the big picture.

1.Neck shots are a poor choice due to the small area where the shot is lethal.

2.Neck shots are a poor choice due to the high number of wounded and not recovered game animals.

3.Neck shots are considered less than humane by antis and looked down upon by ethical and responsible hunters.

4.Why shoot at something that small when a lethal area 20 times as big will likely present itself. If it doesn't, what is the big deal, you'll have another chance.

5.Neck shots are like shooting a deer in the hind leg(femoral artery), or mouth or even the anus(Texas heart shot). All kill quickly, but the the odds of crippling the deer or causing long suffering are extremely high.

We, as hunters, must do the right thing and make good shot choices.
Neck shots are not good shot choices.
