Default RE: does any1 shoot deer in the neck?

The way I know it is that a neck shot if hit just right (Lucky) you will drop them but there is alot of room there in the neck that and not much of the spine or arterys so it is easy to miss. I dont know why but I seem to hit the neck often. My first and second bucks with a rifle were on perpose cause it was the only shot. My elk this year with my bow, she jumped the string and turned a little and I was shaking a bit and I got her square in the spine of the neck (Dropped her like a stone) Then on my buck this year I am not sure excatly what I did wrong but I some how got him in the neck aslo (dropped him also) very lucky shot but I have spent the last month trying to figure this one out my sights were fine so it must have been me. I guess god said I was shooting necks this year. lol

But on the other hand those two shots could have gone very bad but I was just very lucky this year and I dont like lucky shots cause there is always bad luck.
