funny you should bring this up...my uncle had seen some people pulled over on the side of the road who had hit a deer. he asked them if he could have it n they said yes. he didnt want to slit its throat in front of the people because the deer was still alive and kicking. so he took a rope and was going to strangle the deer. he wrapped it around the neck a couple of times and started to pull it tight when the doe jumped up. he was holding on to one end and was tryng to get the people who hit the deer to grab the other. they didnt so he let go and the deer started to run then fell and didnt get back up. then he was so pissed he just cut its throat in front of them. neways yes i would cut a deers throat
