The 673 .300 has a Redfield Illuminator 3x9, with standard mount (no see thru). Very satisfied with the .300 performance on the range at 110m and 275m, 1.5" groups at 60m and 110m. Significant drop at 275m -5" using 165g Rem psp.
The weight, balance and fit of the 673 are really nice. The .300 felt recoil is significant but the muzzle blast/concussion is off the charts (shakes the rafters in the range shed!)
Based on the that the .308 should be a great shooter with lower felt recoil and muzzle blast/concussion.
