Default RE: Fletch-Tite or Fastset?

Fastset is nothing more than a very thick super glue. I've been using the Fastset for a number of years now and it works great. Plus you can make arrows much faster than with Fletchtite because of the difference in drying time. Here is a quick tip for using the Fastset:

This works for both carbon and aluminum arrows and the vanes of your choice. I prefer using Arizona but to each his own.

Pour a small amount of accelerator into a very small cup. (you only need a little) Get some Q-tips. Now put the vane in the clamp. Apply the Fastset glue to the vane and set it aside. Dip the Q-tip into the accelerator and swab the accelerator onto the arrow shaft where the vane is to be placed. Allow a few seconds for the accelerator to start to evaporate, then press the vane clamp down onto the shaft. That's it. The vane is attached and dry in a matter of seconds. I have been using this method for quite a while and my arrows hold up well. Give it a try. Good luck..........Jim
