RE: High Dollar calls
Two years ago, I went to the Cabela's store in Dundee, MI. I was ready to spend what ever it took to but a call that would help me get better. I spoke with one of the "specialists" there and received the following advice...
"If you want to spend $100 to impress your hunting buddies, by all means, choose the higher dollar call. If you want to improve your calling, choose a call youy are comfortable with, then practice, practice, practice, practice."
This is the best advice I have had yet on calling. My 2 cents worth includes going to a place where you can hear the ducks during the off season and do the best you can to mimmick them. Good luck.
