Swamp Doggie... my hunting partner has shot 18 with the bow this year alone. Almost ALL have gone at least 50 yards. I've shot around 25 in the last 3 years, and all have gone more than 20 yards except for the 2 spine shot jobs. Most were dead in seconds, but they travelled more than 20 yards. I've shot around 80 with the bow and I can't think of any.... except spine shots that went down in 20 yards. Every once in a while a hit is less than perfect. So we're talking about the exceptions here. I've had a couple that required additional killing out of 80. Don't tell me it can't happen or I'm a bad hunter because it did. Stuff happens....... and then you slit their throat.
