Rem 673 Guide Gun - .308 or .243 cal.
Any feedback on the Rem 673 Guide Gun in .308 or .243 caliber?
The .300 Short Action Ultra Mag is a great shooting gun, I am more than satisfied with the performance of my 673. Remington has produced a few .308 and .243 caliber 673s this year. For my purposes, whitetail hunting and high power silohette matches, the .308 is a more appropriate caliber. The .243 is also a consideration with the reduced felt recoil and cost of ammo.
Interesting combination on the 673 would be scope with see thru mounts to use the iron sights as needed.
