RE: Manual or Digital
Calibers, digital is the way to go. Easy on the eyes.
For scales my vote is to stay away from digital. I got on this digital kick cause I was having trouble with my eyes. So I tried out several from the cheap cabelas model to the RCBS partner to pact. I can still trickle in a load faster with a manuel beam scale than I can digital. All the digital were very sensitive to wind, breezes, doors slamming, dryer running. Also, they wouldn't update fast enough when trickling loads. Where a beam scale is real time movement. So I gave up on digital. Some of my friends like the auto powder dispenser with digital scale. But I have proved time and time again manually doing it, I can do it faster, and I trust it more.
