Danny45 - Bull$hit ! I shot for 13 years with a compound, right hand and extremely left eye dominant. I shot both eyes open and never had a problem. I was good enough to win 3D shoots because I shot a lot and tinkered a lot.

DO NOT CLOSE BOTH EYES !! You lose dpeth perception and periphreal vision.

Larry Yien is an excellent target archer and he's cross dominant, Howard Hill was cross dominant, Fred Bear switched hands and was deadly with either as is Byron Ferguson - so yes, cross dominance is something to overcome but its not unlike playing ball sports.

Do you see any NBA players closing an eye while shooting ? Any baseball players using a patch ? Hell no, and I gaurantee some of them are cross dominant.

Its not near the issue people make it to be.
