Im sure we all have made the less then perfect shot on a deer and a second is needed. This was the case a few nights ago to a freind i was hunting with. After we found the deer under a ceder, my friend said just cut its throat and end it. I refused and placed a second shot. even after that he still wanted the cut the throat to end its pain. I recall reading that this is a very inhumane way to take a deer out. the question then was brought up fellow hunters and i seem to stand alone. so what is your opinion and or the facts. thanks.
