Steve has probably nailed it - the firing pin spring. That spring should be aligned cone end to cone end (that will make sense when you look at it). You may also need to thoroughly clean the firing pin assembly and perhaps pollish the firing pin a little. Could be a burr or something on the striking face of the pin that is grabbing the primer.
