I bought the swarwoksi 8.5x42 EL series. Needless to say the price is as stunning as the quality. I bought it on a 6-pay plan and DO NOT regret this purchase at all.

Recommendation: I bought something like 6 pairs of good binoculars on credit card and did my own side-by-side comparison at dawn, dusk overcast, sunny, etc for a week or so. This is the one I kept... clearly superior to my over 40 eyes.

I credit my optics to allowing me to hunt rightto legal limit even in heavy forest cover, something I was never able to do before. ALso credit it w/ a hog I would not have seen clearly w/ naked eye. Local law says 15" at sholder, so I was able to verify this beforehand w/ binocs, and thanks to the leupold scope, I was ableto take her and anchor her so I wouldn't haveto chase thru the woods at night to find her.
Thanks to modern gunmakers high quality offerings, you can buy the cheapest rifle and best optics and have a dynamite combo... too many people do it the other way around, which IMHO is bass ackwards way of "looking" at things.
