Default RE: Deer Minerals

I have not tried this, but I will in the spring.

1 part dicalcium phosphate
2 parts loose dairy minerals
1 part loose stock salt
1 part dry molasses or couple boxes berry jello mix (optional)
Use a coffee can or similar to mix each part as you mix. Do not mix until ready to use.
Dig or tear up circle 36 inches wide or so and about 6 inches deep. Mix mineral mix with soil. Replenish in 6 months or sooner if they really tear it up.
Plain salt materials are great as an attractant but go with something with more minerals. The above will make 200 lbs for about $23.
