RE: Hunting with out a stabilizer?
One reason I stated was that they have gotten in the way several times when hunting. This has happend usually when treestand hunting and the deer is crossing behind you. You're trying not to move much but if you need to suddenly switch to the other side of the tree the stabilizer can cause some problems. I also hunt in some oaks with pretty crazy branches and they really help with concealment. But often those same large branches get in the way ( at full draw).
