I would contact T/C and advise them of that. That is a nice rifle. I never heard of that happening before. Perhaps there is something wrong with the rifle.. Better to be safe then sorry. Besides that is a pain in the you know where...

It sounds like when you fire the primer is backing up and there for blocking the action from opening. When you re-cock and then fire again it resets the primer back to where it belongs and then it opens as normal..
