The terrain is typical Texas---wide open flat spaces with a bush periodically, and once in awhile a small hill the size of a zit. For the most part it was windy last year---sometimes it was 30 to 40 gusting to 50.

Aside from the windy conditions, the shoot was laid out excellent, and offered some very challenging shots. The host club did an excellent job using what terrain they had to the nth degree.

The atmosphere was very friendly both with regards to the hosting club, and the participants.

It is a total of 40 targets for the shoot. As I recall you could shoot 20, or all 40 on Friday, or shoot 20 or all 40 on Saturday, but you could only shoot 20 on Sunday.

The sight in range was nice and flat, and the targets were good, and was governed by a range officer.

There was also a bowhunter defense range of animal targets set up, that was in itself a good challenging warm-up for the competition range.

There was plenty of food, and refreshments to be had inside a big pavillion.

Parking was ample, and within easy walking distance of activities.

The competition range was somewhat remote from everything else, but the hosting club provided "taxi service" to and from with the use of trailers with bench seats.

All-in-all it was a lot of fun, and hopefully it will be bigger this year---I would recommend you attend it, and bring some of your friends along-------and have a blast !!!!!!!
