Can't answer your question about Virginia because I am in Maryland. However I have been doing a lot of searching here for land to lease as well, and what I have seen is this.

Hunting leases start at around 6/acre and go up as high as 11/acre, the more you pay the more ammenities you can expect such as (treestands in the woods, food plots, use of farmers atv to drag out deer etc).
