I'm new to yew <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> but the Crusader I got today has yew limbs and they are fairly dark. I was told the bow was 1.5 - 2 years old. (See picture in Got My CRUSADER Today topic.) I certainly wouldn't call it light.
