I have never seen a crusader in person, let alone with Walnut limbs, but I saw a Northern Mist with Walnut limbs and they were pretty sweet looking. With the dark wood, the clear glass is not as clear looking, maybe a bit frosted looking. It looks good none the less. I have a Chek-Mate hunter II recurve with Elm limbs and they look really good. It had a nice long grain. I really like Zebra wood and Bocote though. I just love those light woods with a dark grain.
