Wait just a minute bogobble. now i was out on a stand all afternoon will be this weekend and probably the next. heck thats what i have been doing since oct.
no wait i was out there in late summer no...... all summer . well just put it like this i am out there all year . heck i live in the boonies!

And i don't get this attitude that gun hunters or muzzleloader shoot every deer they see. as i am sure you have read on other forums i have a bow and crossbow and enjoy them. yeah it's great to have deer close...............why heck i had one i could have spit on this afternoon OH GEEZ and i had a muzzle loader!

Hey how many bowhunters can say they have deer come within 5' while making a human scrape?
yep this season while watering the grass i had a doe come trotting through the tall weeds around my stand. and yep i cut it off in mid stream cause it spooked me!
What did i get out my muzzleloading after noon? a good time enjoying a few deer eating in my plots and corn feeders. no shots fired. heck i have only pulled the trigger on one this year out of the hundreds i have seen. why? he was the nicest buck i had seen.
some of us all around hunters just like the hunt!

Some may loose antlers early but i have seen them around march 1st.
but i am positive the good ones are still carrying soem headgear. if not i will probably put one of my corn fed does in the freezer.
cause i also like eating them!
