Congrats on your first coyote!! I love to shoot those varmints. Even during deer season, if I see a yote, he's in deep trouble. I shot a yote one time that was very large. I wondered if he was a wolf or not. I bet that sucker went over 50 lbs easy, and not a rib bone on him showing. Anyways, I like to snipe them. My favorite .270 and a yote beyond 300 yards is a lot of fun and really tests your marksmanship.
