Now you're talkin'. I too, go south. Right to the Gulf of Mexico for reds, pompano and black-tip (depending on time of year and location). Of course any shark is fun to catch. Two years ago I landed a 150lb bull. I definately got a bicep workout that night! It took an hour and a half on fifty lb test.

If you guys really like to relax and love the anticipation/excitement in waiting for deer. Then you would love fishing from the beach on The Gulf at night or any other time for that matter. There's nothing like hearing your spool spin and burning a ring in the palm of your hand trying to slow it down.

It sure helps to keep your mind off of hunting for a bit............
