Well I guess I'm doing something wrong then. I hunt 7f (cayuga county/Auburn area) This was the absolute worse hunting season ever for me. First time I got skunked during bow. And top it off I only got 1 doe during gun. Hunted my arse off for over 2 months. I did pass on 7 different bucks (small) during bow, but didn't end up taking one. I would say my deer sightings were about 50% less than previous year. That includes spotlighting fields at night. I guess it's different in different areas of the state, but around here.............ackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. It downright sucked.
