Default RE: using a crossbow?

You're right, bobcat. I shouldn't have come on here angry in the first place. But when I saw that 'idiotic' claptrap, I blew up. My apologies... to MOST of you.

But here is the perfect illustration of the kind of double talk these crossbow folks try to pull, when they think you've got your brain on hold:

Crossbows are every bit as challenging as compounds.
And then, practically in the same breath they'll say something like:

Compound bows (for most people) do require more practice throughout the year to maintain your accuracy than what a crossbow does, which is exactly why I choose to use a crossbow. I do not have the time year-round to shoot a compound bow to stay in practice.
Anyone care to tell us how crossbows are every bit as challenging as compounds but they don't require as much practice time to be proficient? I'm absolutely dying to hear THAT story.

Anybody besides me notice how many pro-crossbow guys that come on these forums and stir the crossbow pot are from Canada? Their noses are a little to long to keep in their own business, I guess. Like I told a couple of them not long ago, if they'd paid half as much attention to their legislators as they have to U.S. hunting weapons laws, maybe they wouldn't have lost so many of their gun rights.
