Default RE: Mid West Large Bucks

It sure would be nice to live in the Midwest with all of the big deer.....oops, I do live in the Midwest. Ok, Nebraska is just too far west of the line, but it looks as though the larger deer are gradually moving west and south. Maybe there will be a chance to see some huge B&C bucks in the books from here in Nebraska. I saw 2 really big bucks checked in the year from down around Fremont, but a little too far south, 2 miles, of the edge of my hunting territory. The biggest problem is that people in Nebraska just don't seem to care what their buck measures. I harvested a nice 4x5 a couple of years ago and never even had it scored even though my taxidermist thought that I should. My guess is that it would be somewhere between 110-125, but again, that's a guess.
