Great reply BT....TB I use the flock set-up approach before I try a bust.I dont use dekes in the fall just my personal preference but I do attempt to feel out a flock by making contact with them by calling.If they act interested I'll work them to see if I can persuade them to come my way.If they act uninterested I'll move into position for a bust.Remember this a good bust is one when the birds fly in different directions.If they stay together you've accomplished only one thing and thats that you've spooked the birds and probably ruined your hunt for the day.Try to get in close for a bust and once they go get em in the air.If you get them going in different directions than use the keekee,keekee run and lost call.When they get in tight lower your volume and if you know for sure there close and coming have that gun already up and hold off on that calling.Good luck and have fun.You'll learn the most by just going and experiencing it yourself so go kill one.....Bob
