For many years i hunted with my S&W M-29 44 mag, but for the last (2) i haven't taken it out much. 3 years ago i shot a nice 8 point whitetail here on my place, and in the years before that i took moose, black tailed deer and several other game animials. It's always been my "back up gun" when flying into the bush on extended hunts. Many times it's all i carried.

I use hard cast 255 grain "Keith style" bullets that do a good job for me.
