Default RE: using a crossbow?

Oh Dave H ? Where are you buddy ? Wheres that 1 negative about crossbows I'm asking about ?
I haven't been online since my last post. A little impatient aren't we? Apparently you haven't read my posts after all since I listed numerous reasons why they shouldn't be allowed IN ARCHERY SEASONS WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS. People buying one and going out to hunt with them because they think they have gun-like capabilities is one--remember the father I told you about whose son was killed because he had never even held one before??? HE thought no practice was necessary--just like some friends of mine who now hunt with them and never practice. They DID practice when using a bow.

Well as an avid CROSSBOW user I do have to wonder how in hell he shot himself wth a crossbow...hmmm must have shot himself in the foot.....as for your comments Dave....you are entitled to yoru opinion right or wrong & i'm not going to get into a pissing match with you about it & FYI they are called CROSSBOWS not CROSSRIFLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!That is what an ignoramus would call them!!! Brampton Mike
BM--I wasn't the first to call them crossrifles. Rack-attack called them that in the beginning of this thread and I liked the name. Lots of bowhunters call them crossguns. As for your inability to figure out how he shot himself--he was starting to climb down from the treestand and reached up to carry the loaded crossRIFLE down--another mistake--and he accidently shot himself in the chest. I don't see how that could happen with a real bow. Might happen with a GUN or a RIFLE which is why they should be included in those seasons---not archery.
