Down home we used to use a very antiquated system, it was number of points, inside spread and the highth of the tallest tine from the top of a bucks head. No, you couldn't give a buck a numeric score like you can with B&C or P&Y, but it did give you a pretty good idea of the size of the rack. The biggest factor normally to indicate a big rack was inside spread, the heigth of the rack didn't say a whole lot unless it was both tall and wide, then it meant something.
