Default RE: Mathews Legacy vs. Bowtech Patriot

Finally, some pics of the new Mathews, thanks bwrong.

They do look nice, but I think the cable roller and string dampener are just a little too gimmicky for me, and this is coming from someone who shoots Mathews now. I think I will take Matt/PA's advice and go with the BowTech Patriot for the reasons he cited. My dealer is supposed to be getting some Patriots in in a couple of weeks, and unless there is something radically strange about the way they shoot, I will be buying one. I have shot some of the other BowTech models and have found they are very well put together, at least as good in quality as Mathews, probably better.

ABM, I honestly think you should give BowTech a serious look.

Thanks again Matt/PA for helping me seal the deal, it's been killin' me for over a month.

Moonge, I should be getting my BowTech about the same time you get your Mathews. Post some feedback on how you like it and why you think I made the wrong decision, I'll do the same.

Thanks all for the help, this board is great.
