RE: YMR (15-17) draw weight
Working on the bench to improve your best is more dangerous to the body during growth spurts than archery.
Forget the macho crap. If you are an archer, concentrate on putting the arrow in the tiniest little spot you can imagine.

Keep the weight down and shoot it accurately.
