Thats correct, NO HANDGUNS IN CANADA (unless you're a canadian police officer). don't make the mistake of trying to bring one in, you'll regret it. Canada is very tough on the handgun issue and after September 11th the borders are EXTREMELY tight right now. I live in southeast michigan within 50 miles of two canadian border crossings, make sure you have your drivers liscense, birth certificate, and even a passport if you have one (not required but helps) Try to have any info and phone #'s of your hunting service/guide available for them to see. Just tell them the truth when crossing and you'll be fine. I have seen many cars literally torn apart by the border patrols, and they're not very careful with any of your equipment (your $1000 finely tuned bow)when looking. I don't mean to scare you Kansas, just want you to be organized for your crossing, have fun.
