Thanks Skeeter. that helps. not sure if I want to mess with the trigger pull, as I did not shoot the gun this yr., and need to refresh my thinking on it. It is a Rem 788 .243 need to get it out to range again, but was thinking it had a harder pull than one I used of my Dad's( Ruger 30-06)
